Welcome!
The New England Community Choir Festival & Conference is a regional gathering dedicated to celebrating the joy, power, and future of community singing.

Formerly known as the TCV Community Choir Festival, this event is entering an exciting new chapter. As the festival continues to grow, we are expanding its scope and rebranding the event as the New England Community Choir Festival & Conference.

While the name has evolved, the spirit and purpose of the festival remain the same: bringing community singers together to share music, learn from one another, and celebrate the joy of community singing.

Presented by The Common Voice, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Lowell Center for the Arts, the festival brings together community choirs, individual singers, collegiate musicians, and emerging choral directors for an inspiring day of workshops, rehearsals, connection, and performance.
What to expect:
The day is designed to serve both singers and directors through two distinct participation tracks:

Singer Track
Designed for community choir members and individual singers, this track includes workshops, presentations, open rehearsals, and the opportunity to sing in the TCV Festival Chorus during the evening concert.

Director Track
Developed in partnership with the American Choral Directors Association through the New England ACDA Collegiate Conference, this track is geared toward current and future choral directors, collegiate ACDA members, and music education students.

Both tracks will offer:
Workshops and presentations
Open rehearsals
Collaborative singing experiences
Participation in the Festival Chorus finale

Festival Concert
The day culminates in the Festival Concert, featuring:
-
Performances by participating choirs
-
Special guests
-
The TCV Festival Chorus Finale
Each registered choir is invited, though not required, to perform a set of up to 10 minutes on the evening concert.

All attendees are also invited to join the TCV Festival Chorus for the finale.

Last year, more than 200 singers took the stage together for the closing performance, ranging in age from 8 years old to over 80.
